The tech community wouldn’t exactly be known as the most fashionable bunch. Is the hoodies, startup t-shirts and scruffy beard stereotype unfair, though?

I half thought it might be so I took a wee break from blogging to find the five best dressed people on the conference floor.

I didn’t even have to look for long, in fairness…

Kei is from Vancouver and works in PR. Her coat from Bedo and Aldo scarf fairly popped on the conference floor and I was a big fan of the fresh pair of Nikes completing her ensemble.

Benjamin Moreau – Radiooooo

Benjamin’s slick gingham shirt came to Web Summit all the way from New Delhi. The man accessorised well, from his woven tie to his strong sock game.

My picture nearly doesn’t do this look justice. For this, Yasemine, I can only apologise. Her coat from Asos and loose scarf made for an #OnPoint combination of layers. Her Mauro Leoni moccasins finished the look nicely. I’d be a fan of flashing a bit of ankle myself.

I’m not saying I have a favourite, but…

The hat at a jaunt, the layered tweed, the woven tie that introduces just the right splash of colour and a solid pair of brogues.

Breandán: take a bow, son. Take a bow.

Bobir is in the art game. He fairly looks the part. That’s a Ferublu blazer he’s working.
