John Collison – Co-Founder – Stripe

Coming from Limerick in Ireland, John is a startup prodigy. He and his brother Patrick founded Stripe four years ago when he was studying physics at Harvard. With some code, Stripe lets app makers send and receive money to and from all kinds of places. John’s not doing too bad, seeing as Stripe recently got a reported valuation of $3.5 billion.

Nas, the superstar rapper has released eight platinum and multi-platinum albums, selling over 25 million records worldwide. A record producer, actor and publisher, in the last few years he has been building his cred as a tech investor. In Dublin he’ll be speaking about his role as an entrepreneur and startups investor.

Ed Catmull – President – Pixar Animation Studios

Dr. Ed Catmull is a co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and President of Walt Disney Studios. He has been honoured with five Academy Awards, and an award for his lifetime of technical contributions and leadership in the field of computer graphics for the motion picture industry.

Stewart Butterfield – CEO – Slack

You may know him as the co-founder of popular photo-sharing website Flickr. Stewart sees the internet at its most significant as a medium for human communication and interaction. Six years ago he moved on to become co-founder and president of Slack, the employment messaging app. Slack has become Silicon Valley’s hot breakout startup and its valuation has doubled in just five months to a reported $2.8 billion.
