Web Summit careers: Recent graduate? Join our Associate Programme

Grow with Web Summit. Join our Associate Programme.

We’re growing and we’re looking for people to help us. If you’ve just graduated and would like to experience life in one of Europe’s most exciting companies, we can help.

Maybe you’re a little unsure about what you want your career to look like. That’s okay. As a Web Summit Associate you’ll have a chance to work with several different teams within our business and see where you thrive.

If you’re an analytical and entrepreneurial graduate who lives for a challenge, works well in a fast-paced environment and wants to have fun, we want to hear from you.

Take it from some of our current graduates: we’ve got a good thing going here…

Ruth Healy – Researcher, Speakers Team

“I research, contact and book potential Web Summit speakers. I also prepare talks and our live content. When it comes to game day – our conferences – I live produce this content on stage.

“Working at Web Summit is a great, and slightly less obvious way, of using my Sociology and Social Policy degree from Trinity College, Dublin.

“I genuinely couldn’t even begin to tell you what a typical day here is like, because I haven’t really had two similar days yet – in a good way.

“I’ve gotten to travel, and I’ve met so many interesting people – both inside and outside the company.

“I think that strong personal opinions are respected more at startups like Web Summit. Stick to yours and you’ll do well.”

For an idea of the breadth offered by our Associate Programme and the range of work undertaken by our current Associates, listen to Eamonn. He’s working in our Data Science Team

“I spend most of my day developing tools and software, contributing to our codebase on GitHub, and analysing huge amounts of data.

“There’s really no area of the company unaffected by Data Science, so I often meet with staff from many other teams to collaborate.

“Experiencing our events has been incredible. I can see that every small contribution I make adds to the amazing experience our attendees have. It’s motivating and inspiring.

“Find a company that’s doing something you think is truly cool. If you can’t find one, you probably haven’t looked hard enough.

“Don’t be conventional about your application – make yourself stand out. Your interests, ideas and ideals are just as important as your experience and education.”
