Web Summit becomes an art gallery – thanks to Saatchi Art

It’s a festival out there. A festival of tech and so much more. Besides great speakers and exhibitions, gadget demos, pitching, discussions and so much more, Web Summit is also now a giant outdoor art gallery.

Some might say tech and art don’t mix but this week during Web Summit, Saatchi Art, the world’s leading online art gallery, is presenting “From L.A. to Dublin”, a pop-up exhibition at Food Summit and a public art installation of epic proportions outside The Village at Simmonscourt.

The exhibition showcases 50 works by some of Ireland’s most exciting emerging artists. Attendees are also free to view the exhibition online here and you can enjoy 15% off all works on Saatchi Art using the code summit15.

If you like your art to have more of an urban feel, you can also hit up The Village to check out a 6m high building wrap featuring a larger-than-life gorilla, created by Venice Beach street artist Isabelle Alford-Lago.

Now it’s competition time:

Win $1000 at Saatchi Art: Simply take a photo of Isabelle’s gorilla and share it via Instagram using the hashtag #FromLAtoDublin to enter. One lucky photographer will be chosen at random to win $1000 to spend at Saatchi Art.

Happy snapping.
