Here are details of the various transport options available to get to Web Summit along with a map of the venue and transport points. Make sure you know where to go:

All Night Summit venues are located in the city centre and are easily accessed by foot from Connolly Station, Heuston Station, Bus Arás and all city centre Luas and DART stations. Taxis to Night Summit venues are available throughout the city and will service all Web Summit venues. You can also download the Hailo app for free to get a taxi from wherever you are, whenever you want. All it takes is two taps on your smartphone.

 Transport to Night Summit Venues

All Night Summit venues are located in the city centre and are easily accessed by foot from Connolly Station, Heuston Station, Bus Arás and all city centre Luas and DART stations.

Transport to the The Town (RDS)

The Town can be reached by the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) and a short walk. From Dublin city centre, visitors to the The Town can take the DART southbound to ‘Lansdowne Road Station’ from Pearse Station on Westland Row, Tara St Station or Connolly Station. From Lansdowne Road Station, walk straight down Beatty’s Avenue and turn left onto Merrion Road. The Town will be on your right.

Connolly Station provides a link with the city’s tram system, the Luas.

Bus

The main Dublin Bus routes that serve Ballsbridge from the City Centre are the number 4, 7 and 8 from O’Connell Street, O’Connell Bridge and Nassau Street outside Trinity College.

Arriving by Road

From Nassau Street at Trinity College (city centre), travel along Merrion Square and Lower Mount Street. Cross the canal and continue along Northumberland Road, Pembroke Road and then Merrion Road until you see the The Town on your right.

From outside the city, travel through the M50 roundabout towards the city centre. Follow south city signs to the Grand Canal. Travel alongside the canal to the Baggot Street Bridge. Turn right onto Pembroke Road and at traffic lights continue right onto Pembroke Road and then Merrion Road, where the The Town will be on your right.

Arriving by Air

Dublin Airport is located 12km from the The Town.

Taxis are available outside the airport Arrivals Hall.

For those travelling by car from Dublin Airport, follow all directions for Dublin City Centre as you exit Dublin Airport. Cross the motorway and take the slipway down onto the M1. On the motorway, stay in the right hand lane and take the Port Tunnel (charges vary depending on time of day – ensure you have change in euros) After the toll, continue past the 3 arena on right and cross East Link Toll Bridge.

Soon after passing through the toll booths turn right at the roundabout. Continue to the second set of traffic lights. Travel straight across this junction to another T junction. Turn left then make an immediate right onto Newbridge Avenue. At the roundabout take the third exit and drive alongside the canal on Beatty Avenue. Turn left onto Merrion Road and the The Town will be to your right.

Or if you have a Sat Nav or GPS, make it really easy on yourself and type in RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Aircoach

The Aircoach provides a 24hr coach service from Dublin Airport to the nearby Hampton Hotel; From here, turn left onto Morehampton Road and then right onto Merrion Road. The The Town will be on your right.

Aircoach is offering discounts to Web Summit attendees for travel between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre and Suburbs on the following three routes:  

Route Number 700: Dublin Airport – City Centre Leopardstown route
Route Number 702: Dublin Airport – Ballsbridge / RDS – Greystones route
Route Number 703: Dublin Airport – Dun Laoghaire – Dalkey / Killiney route
