In the run-up to Web Summit, attending investors have been requesting meetings with startups as part of our Office Hours scheme.

These pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings are a chance for startups to make valuable connections with Web Summit investors. Major funds like Sherpa Capital, Greylock Partners, NEA, KPCB, Seedcamp and 500 Startups are all taking part.

We’ve already looked at the startups that have received the most investor requests. Let’s dig a little deeper.

Fintech is the most popular industry with investors, with 14 fintech startups making our top 50.

Check out Web Summit’s hottest fintech startups.

Stay tuned till tomorrow when we’ll be announcing the second-most in-demand industry.
