Not only will Web Summit feature the standalone Marketing Summit – which will hear from the world’s biggest brands from Apple to McDonald’s – we’ll also get to see the marketing giants of tomorrow.
Our ALPHA programme showcases early-stage startups from around the world operating in a variety of industries.
Take a look at ten of the most exciting marketing startups joining our ALPHA programme this November:
Movidiam is a social network for filmmakers which allows agencies, brands and a range of freelancers connect and manage projects online.
According to co-founder George Olver, connectivity has democratised filmmaking and made remote freelancing the norm. It’s Movidiam’s aim to facilitate this way of working.
Founded in January 2014, the London-based firm announced a $632,000 seed round in April of this year.
Indian startup design.codes recently launched Checkmysite, a resource for SMEs and digital agencies which allows users receive a free SEO, social and branding report for their website. It also allows users to check their competitors’ sites.
Checkmysite aside, design.codes specialise in UI/UX design, front and back end development and a variety of marketing services.
Founded by Nicholas Hopper in 2014, SaaS startup Crozdesk use a bespoke algorithm and big data to score online productivity tools.
The Crozdesk Score is based on user feedback and significant web data, while the Crozdesk Web App Explorer allows users instant access to independent ratings when visiting the site of a web app.
Having just exited its beta phase this June, Crozdesk – like Checkmysite – is primarily aimed at startups and SMEs.
