The Wild West of Ireland in November? Too good to miss.
Surf Summit is an intimate gathering of people who love tech and the outdoors. Most attendees won’t go surfing, but you can bet the many pro-surfers attending will take to some of the biggest waves in the world each day and teach others a thing or two while they’re at it!
Whether you enjoy being surrounded by incredible people or jaw dropping scenery, Surf Summit is three days of curated activities, networking, dinners, parties, discussions and talks. We’ve already shared the first of the big name surfers joining us in Sligo for Surf Summit, now its the time of the entrepreneurs, and we’ve got some great names from Microsoft, Adroll & more. Lets take a look:
Peggy Johnson – EVP – Microsoft
Although she claims her husband Eric (who will be joining) is the big surfer in the family, we think Peggy knows a thing or two about waves, and we’re looking forward to seeing her take to the wild seas of Sligo! Previously EVP of Qualcomm Technologies, Peggy is now EVP at Microsoft and will also speak at Web Summit.
Joanna Weidenmiller – CEO – 1-Page
This brilliant Fortune article about Joanna sums up here incredible story: One woman’s unlikely path to a $100million company. While she states in the article that she has no sporting ability we might just have to test that theory out at Surf Summit.
Adam Berke – CMO – Adroll
Reading Adam’s Adroll bio one thing really jumps out – “Adam is also an avid surfer, kiteboarder, snowboarder, and barefoot runner.” Surf Summit could be the perfect place for Adam – aside from snow, which is still a possibility – he’ll probably try his hand at all the rest. As CMO of Adroll he’ll probably have a few more pearls of wisdom to offer too.
Bay McLaughlin – Co-founder – Brinc
It’s a long way from Hong Kong to Sligo, but not one without reward. For Bay McLaughlin, that reward will be a dip in the Wild Atlantic Ocean, great scenery & good company at Surf Summit. As Co-founder of Brinc, Bay has launched a new type of startup platform that bridges the divide between the digital and physical worlds.
So much more than just surfing – Join us at Surf Summit.
