Would you call yourself one of the Twitterati? What about the Facebookerati? (OK, so it doesn’t work with Facebook, but you catch the drift). If so, we want you! We are looking for the very best online voices and the most active and innovative social media users to join our Live Team and attend Web Summit for free.
That’s right, we are putting together a Social Media Dream Team with the highest quality social users across all platforms. We want social superstars from Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Vine, Google+ and everywhere in between to share the story of Web Summit 2014 from the frontline.
The team will be covering all corners of the event, sharing the amazing stories of speakers, startups, founders, investors, media and attendees. The Founders of Twitter, Dropbox, Hailo, Skype and 10,000+ more have come to our events over the past 4 years, and this November we will welcome our greatest number of attendees ever. With your help we can also develop our largest, most far-reaching online presence, and get the world talking about Web Summit 2014.
While playing a key role in coordinating social media at Web Summit, you will get access to all kinds of exclusive parties and events. As well as gaining CV-friendly Social Media experience you will be up close and personal with the industry’s elite so you can improve your own network and contacts.
It’s an unbelievable opportunity, but don’t take our word for it. Here’s what some of last year’s Live Team had to say about their experience:
“I really enjoyed going to listen to the speakers and the challenge of tweeting their main points in 140 characters. It’s very cool when some of the big names retweet your comments or tweet you back.” Deborah Molloy, Live Team 2013
“Live Team 2013 gave me unprecedented exposure to those who are shaping the future. And as a woman in tech, I have been inspired at Web Summit by some of the world’s most successful female leaders.” Emily Ross, Live Team 2013
“For me personally it brought a huge growth in social media numbers as well as a new means of meeting people I still talk to now. It’s a pleasurable experience that comes at no cost but the time you’re willing to spend listening to some of the best speakers in technology and media.” Greg Synott, Live Team 2013
