Snap your Web Summit journey – win a Canary

How would you like to leave Web Summit with the slickest IoT security camera on the market? Thanks to our friends at Canary, you just might.

The Canary is an all-in-one home security system with HD camera, siren, and air monitor. All you need to do is set the Canary on a shelf, connect to the internet, and you’re set. You can then control the system and monitor the home from your smartphone. Check out what they can do…

How do you go about winning one? Simple. Take a picture of you or your team starting out your journey to Web Summit, and tweet it with the line:

I’m coming to @WebSummit from [INSERT LOCATION HERE] and I want to return home with a @canary #WebSummit [PHOTO LINK]’

With over 150 countries set to be represented at Web Summit, we’d love to see as many nationalities and famous landmarks represented. Think creatively, make your snap as exotic and eye-catching as you can, and you just might win.

Here’s my personal example. I’ve been on the road with the Web Summit European road trip since mid-September, travelling across Europe meeting a whole lot of great people and seeing some great sights. Here I am outside the Warsaw Palace of Culture and Science.

Peace signs, while not mandatory, will of course be looked on favourably.

We’ve got five Canaries to give away on Twitter, and another five for Snapchat. All you’ve got to do is follow WebSummit, and snap us your picture, along with the message:

I’m coming to #WebSummit from [INSERT LOCATION HERE], and I want to return home with a Canary.

A team of Web Summit judges will decide the winners of the ten Canaries, and they’ll be announced on our blog and social media channels on Thursday, November 10 at around midday.

The final date for entries to the competition is Tuesday, November 8 at 11.30am. Only Web Summit attendees are eligible to win the prize.

Get snapping, and you might just catch yourself a Canary.
