A chance for the most promising, high-potential Irish startups to pitch in front of a distinguished panel of judges.
15 startups will battle it out at Web Summit HQ on September 16 with 3 proceeding to the final at Web Summit in November where they will compete for a €25,000 prize.
Irish tech startups looking to emulate the international success of Datahug and SmartThings – recently acquired by Samsung for $200 million – can apply for our ESB Spark of Genius Award. The award recognises Ireland’s most promising, high-potential startup.
We’re inviting 15 of the country’s hottest startups to Web Summit HQ on Wednesday, September 16 where they’ll fight for one of three spots to pitch in the final during November’s Web Summit.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for startups built on a unique idea, that can demonstrate they’ve already developed on that idea, and can show their potential for significant growth.
The competition is open to all Irish startups that have been operating for less than 3 years and have received less that €1 million funding.
Last year’s winner Love & Robots – a company producing unique, 3D-printed products – has closed €200,000 in funding and has announced plans to double their six-strong team in the near future.
In short, we’re looking for Ireland’s best startup.
Applications are open until midnight at Tuesday, September 1st, and if you think your startup can take on the best and succeed, you can sign up here.
