Peter Finnegan is Dublin City’s Coordinator in Chief for Web Summit

Important Update: We would in particular like to thank the entire team at Dublin City Council who have prepared the city for the arrival of 18,000 international guests, and not just Peter.

Over 18,000 international guests will fly into Dublin City for Web Summit and Peter Finnegan has been the tireless coordinator in chief behind the City’s preparations.

Peter is Dublin City Council’s International Relations Director and has helped coordinate the huge numbers of City and Country stakeholders involved in ensuring our 800 international investors, 1,200 international media, 2,500 company CEOs and tens of thousands more attendees see the best side of Dublin City. From buses to traffic flow to parks, even extra signage, Peter has been the mastermind, the coordinator in chief, behind it all.

While the media’s attention will focus on tech’s biggest names over the coming week at Web Summit, it’s people like Peter that make the Web Summit possible. We owe Peter a huge debt of gratitude for his efforts behind the scenes. You can follow him on Twitter here.
