How would you like a fully connected, fully electric BMW i3, thanks to our Official Mobility Partner, BMW i?
We’re happy to announce that we have teamed up with BMW and that BMW i is the Official Mobility Partner of Web Summit. BMW are all about coming up with radical solutions to the challenges faced by the automotive industry – they grasp that the future is digital, connected and autonomous. Their i brand is an incubator for innovations and the latest technologies in auto. And you’ll be able to see this for yourself at Web Summit.
Take a test drive at Web Summit
At Web Summit, you’ll have a chance to experience the cutting edge in electric mobility and connectivity at the BMW i Plaza (outside FIL Pavilion 1) on November 7-9, and will be able to test drive one of the all-electric i3s. Generating zero emissions, it’s the world’s first series-production model designed for sustainability at every stage. It can also get to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. It’s quite an experience, and is recognised the world over as a symbol of driving pleasure, sustainability and intelligent connectivity for urban areas.
If you want to try one out for a little longer, we can help.
BMW have given us a one-year lease of an i3 to give away. Here’s what you need to do.
Tweet us a picture of your current mode of transport and the following message.

Get creative, show us why you want an i3, and you could just get lucky. If you’re successful, you’ll win a year’s lease of an i3, starting January 1, 2018. We’ll be announcing our winner on November 9, Web Summit Day Three. The deadline for entries is November 8 at 12pm, and the competition is open to European residents only.
If you’re joining us at Web Summit, be sure to check out AutoTech, our standalone automotive conference, where BMW’s SVP of digital services and business models, Dieter May will be speaking on November 7 about the smart car and new auto ecosystems. Zach Barasz, BMW i Ventures, will tell us about how BMW are investing in urban mobility startups on our TalkRobot stage, also on November 7.
Get snapping, and you may get to experience BMW’s solution to 21st-century driving for yourself.
