Nothing’s equivalent to the New York state of mind: 4 NY startups coming to Web Summit

ALPHA for 2015 is now closed. You can still attend as an attendee or sign up to exhibit at ALPHA 2016.

Hope you enjoyed the headline – a reference to some of Nas’s best work. Nasty Nas is coming to Web Summit, but he won’t be the only New York representative touching down in Dublin next month.

The Big Apple is sending its best startups our way, too. Take a look at four New York startups coming to Web Summit:

Sticker Mule

Sticker Mule create custom stickers for the corporate market. They produce all their stickers to the highest standard and have the capacity to create 50,000 bumper stickers in just one hour – fairly impressive.

If you’re a startup coming to Web Summit and want some product to hand out, you can pick up some of their customised stickers here.

We’re particularly delighted to have ProSeeder join us next month because they’ve recently announced they’re opening a Dublin office.

These guys provide a tech platform for investment firms to conduct their operations related to direct investment in private securities.

They’ve raised $4.38M in funding, most recently a $4 million venture round in December 2014.

Qubed have recently partnered with the iconic Condé Nast to bring university education and publishing together.

They’ve launched an MA degree with the University of Souther California and Wired magazine that aims to educate creative thinkers and tech professionals to get them ready to transform the world of industry and enterprise.

Cognotion are tackling the issue of unemployment and underemployment both in the US and abroad. They’re gamifying training and upskilling for entry-level employees.

They’ve raised over $2 million in funding, most recently a $500,000 seed round this April.

Exhibit at the world’s most important startup gathering. Apply to ALPHA 2016.
