Google awarding $20m to startups at Web Summit

Check out the grand finale of Web Summit on our centre stage – tune into the livestream

It started with free coffee. The queues formed around the Alpha and Beta stands in the Town Square as attendees in need of a caffeine fix got their sustenance from the baristas at the Google exhibition stand.

Now the beans have been swapped for bucks as Google have today been handing out $10,000 worth of support to our startups in the form of Google Cloud Platform credits.

Almost all of our exhibiting startups qualify for this amazing giveaway, which is applicable for new projects.
Google’s SVP of technical infrastructure Urs Hölzle announced the exclusive $20m offer yesterday. In more exciting startup news, the winner of our PITCH competition is due to be announced onstage at 15.25pm today.
Not gonna be there to see it? Watch all the action directly from centre stage on our livestream.
