Keep your Web Summit experience going with Surf Summit. Join us in County Sligo.

Right after Web Summit finishes up we’re switching coasts and heading to Strandhill in County Sligo for Surf Summit.

World-class surfers like Garrett McNamara, Easkey Britton and Pauline Ado are joining tech founders and CEOs for a weekend’s surf, adventure sports and craic on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

Here’s what to expect from Surf Summit:

Friday, November 6

Registration – DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Burlington Road – 11:30-12:30
Get registered and meet the people you’ll be surfing, hiking and having the craic with over the weekend.

Departure for Sligo – 12:45
The Surf Summit buses set off for Sligo. It’s about a three-hour journey.

Welcome dinner and drinks – the Surf Summit Hub – 17:30 
Get to know the Surf Summit crew over a pint and dinner. Get yourself ready for the weekend at our Surf Summit hub – The Model. It’s one of the country’s top contemporary arts centres.

Pub crawl – Sligo Town – 19:30
You’ve already seen the pubs of Dublin – see how Sligo’s measure up. It promises to be a spicy night, as Sligo locals would say.

Saturday, November 7 

Surf and adventure activities – 09:00-17:30
Get yourself in the water with some of the world’s top surfers and get hiking and biking around Strandhill.

19:30: Dinner and drinks at the Surf Summit Hub
Relax and get yourself ready for a night on the town. Chat about that wave you almost caught with our network of founders, CEOs and CMOs.

Strandhill takeover – 21:00 
Explore the pubs of Strandhill with the Surf Summit crew.

A night out in 5th on Teeling – 23:00
Join us in 5th on Teeling, Sligo’s premier live music venue and club. It’ll be a late one.

Sunday, November 8 

Bus 1 departs Sligo – 08:00 
If you’re on the first bus leaving Sligo you’ll be dropped off at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at approximately 11:00.

Hike up Knocknarea – 10:00
Is there a better way to recover after whatever you got up to the previous night? Check out Knocknarea in the picture below.

Bus 2 departs Sligo – 10:00
This bus will leave you at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at approximately 13:00.

14:00: All buses depart Sligo
The last of the buses will bring you to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for approximately 17:00.
