Sofar Sounds have created a movement which brings music lovers, from around their city, and around the world, together. Started in 2009 in a tiny North London flat, frustrated by the traditional live music experience, three friends hosted three young artists who played to a carefully selected audience of true music lovers and Sofar Sounds was born. And after that show, those people went and told their friends who did likewise and now we are now the world’s largest live music discovery community; curating secret, intimate gigs in unique spaces in 87 cities all around the world. Bringing the magic back to live music. At the SOFAR X SUMMIT shows we will invite a specially selected speaker from the music/music tech industry to attend each of our two gigs and talk with us about current trends, artist promotion, the state of the industry and connecting with audiences. We’ll also have some interesting live performances in a little spot in the city center. If you want to come along to one of these special SOFAR X SUMMIT shows please sign up below, spaces are limited, and for the rest of our Dublin and Worldwide shows sign up at www.sofarsounds.com. See you soon in someone’s living room! The Sofar Team
