It’s nearly Web Summit time, and that means one of many things – Food Summit is back! This year we are delighted to team up to bring you Food Summit with Good Food Ireland®, a world of great food, intriguing discussion and much more.

This year we’re also delighted to introduce the Food Tech Stage which will host discussion and demonstration on the latest innovations in food technology. The ethics and technology behind food production will also be explored as we discuss the leapfrog technology of the artificial egg with Josh Tetrick, Founder and CEO of Hampton Creek. We’ll be looking into 3D printed food, and we’ll talk Man V. Food with renowned food writer Tom Parker Bowles.

The Story of Good Food Ireland®

It all started with a farm visit and exploded 10 days later into a celebration of Irish food that wowed international guests at Web Summit 2013.

Continuing the momentum of last year’s hugely successful partnership between the Web Summit and Good Food Ireland, food takes centre stage again this year with the Food Summit with Good Food Ireland showcasing the best of local Irish food and produce from all four corners of the island on this incredible international stage.

This year some 400 food producers and chefs from Ireland’s leading restaurants, hotels, pubs, cafés, food shops and cookery schools will showcase the taste and flavour of Ireland’s food at the Food Summit with Good Food Ireland® to the over 20,000 delegates and journalists who will be attending Web Summit 2014.
