After securing your ticket for Web Summit 2014, getting a roof over your head is the next important task to scratch off your list. But when it comes to hotels, everyone is looking for something different. Some people are all about “Location, location, location” while others are just looking for an affordable pitstop between networking events.

We’ve put our heads together at Web Summit to breakdown, for your convenience, the best hotels under four different categories: networking, comfort, location, and budget. All of these hotels are still available in early November, so nab your perfect spot ahead of the rush here.

If you’re a person who wants to be able to put their feet up after they’ve hung up their networking hat for the day, then one of the three hotels below are the ideal spot for you. The Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street in the city centre is so aesthetically pleasing that it will have a calming effect to help you unwind in the evenings, while the Eliza Lodge Hotel is another centrally located option that is a great choice for those who want a blissful spot for post-Web Summit relaxation. Away from the bustling city, however, the Radisson Blu St Helens’ in Blackrock with its vintage hotel decor is also a great location if you want an emphasis on comfort.

Whether you want a spot close to the Night Summit action or a quiet place to bring a potential investor to for a stylish old-fashioned in the evening, one of these hotels is for you. Located just a few minutes walk from Temple Bar, The Morrison Hotel, Mercantile Hotel, and Brooks Hotel are the ideal location for you if you want to be near the heart of the networking events organised for each evening, while also having a calm spot to retreat back to if you want to discuss business in the evening with clients.

When it comes to hotels, a lot of people are all about “location, location, location”. If this is your mantra, then either the Sandymount Hotel, Clyde Court, or Grand Canal Hotel are your port of call. Each of these hotels are within a 15 minute walk of the event in the RDS, meaning you’ll be able to cut down on those taxi bills while also – more importantly – grabbing those extra vital few minutes in bed.

Last, but not least, are the budget hotels that are still available for those looking to squeeze their pennies. But when we say ‘budget’, that doesn’t mean these hotels are of a lesser standard. Each of the below hotels have a lot to offer, with both the Jurys Inn and Maldron Hotel still located very close to the city centre and Night Summit activities, while Travelodge near Stephens Green is a handy 10 minute taxi ride from the Web Summit event in the RDS.
