For the last two years, Christian has been the managing partner of White Star Capital, a company he co-founded. White Star Capital has backed a number of successful companies, including Dollar Shave Club, Bloglovin’ and Betaworks. Prior to this he was the European director of Facebook, where he ensured that Facebook’s Business Development, Platform and Developer Network groups expanded internationally.
Hiro is a partner at Atomico, where he oversees the portfolio management of their funds. Before Atomico, Hiro co-founded a Tokyo-based investment firm which invested over $300 million in various companies. For over 15 years he has been helping companies expand to international audiences, most notably working with Niklas Zennström
on Skype’s global expansion.
Amy Nauiokas – Founder – Anthemis Group
As the president of Anthemis, Amy leads the team in their strategic and investor activities. Her list of early investments include Climate Corporation and Simple, both of which were later acquired in multimillion dollar deals. She’s helped bring a number of creative projects to life by producing the likes of Broadway’s Once and Sundance Film Festival’s Diary of a Teenage Girl.
