For startups and investors alike, the countdown to Web Summit is on. In little over 5 weeks, hundreds of investors will be making their way to Dublin, where they will be scoping out the most innovative and promising startups exhibiting at the conference.

Christine Herron – Managing Partner – Intel Capital


Christine has been at Intel Capital since 2010, where she is now a managing partner. Before Intel Capital, Christine was a Principle at a early-stage venture firm called First Round Capital.

Benedict Evans – Partner – a16z


Benedict is a partner at the Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). By sharing tech insights on his blog and Twitter feed he has become a well known figure in the industry.

Dick Kramlich – Co-Founder – NEA


Since 1969 Dick has been a venture capitalist. In 1978 he co-founded the company which he now chairs, NEA. Over the course of his career, he has been involved with ten companies from an early stage, which would go on to become unicorns – companies valued in excess of $1 billion. He was also featured in Something Ventured, a documentary looking into the visionary venture capitalists of the 20th century.

Avid Larizadeh Duggan – Managing Partner – Google Ventures


Prior to becoming a partner at Google Ventures, Avid co-founded the online jewellery marketplace Boticca. In her spare time, she runs the UK Hour of Code, an initiative to increase involvement in computer science education.

Sarah Tavel – Partner – Greylock


Sarah made history at Greylock by being their first female investment partner. Before Greylock, she was Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners and it was then that she invested in Pinterest, long before it became the success it is today.
