41 days and counting. That’s how long it is until Web Summit kicks off in Dublin. In the excitement of it all, we thought we’d let you in on a few more speakers coming to the conference this year.

The speakers all come from vastly different companies but their huge influence is the common thread. Let’s have a look in more detail at who will be inspiring audiences at Web Summit this year…

Jefferson Hack – Founder – Dazed and Confused

Jefferson has come along way since his student days at London College of Printing when he first released Dazed magazine at 19. Dazed Group, known for having its finger on the pop culture pulse, now encompasses a print and online magazine, as well as an in-house creative service. Jefferson himself has been described as “the coolest man in Britain” and will be speaking at Web Summit this year.

Michelle Peluso – CEO – Gilt Group

Michelle Peluso

Gilt, a membership-only fashion website known for its discounted designer items, is fronted by Michelle. She’s been named one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business”, perhaps due to her distinctive leadership style. She doesn’t believe in the ivory-tower culture of big business – she opted out of an office and prefers to split her time between the different teams at Gilt Group.

Dave McClure – Founder – 500 Startups

Dave is a founding partner at 500 Startups, a Silicon Valley investment venture capital firm with $170 million in assets. He’s an eager investor, and has invested in the likes of Mint and Behance. He also has marketing experience and was the Director of Marketing for Simply Hired and PayPal.
